These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Stamppi, a digital loyalty service operated by Faran Services, registered in Finland (“Stamppi”, “we”). By creating an account, scanning a code, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Stamppi is a digital stamp-card platform. Participating restaurants and cafés (“Restaurants”) set up loyalty campaigns; their customers (“you”, “Diners”) collect digital stamps toward a reward. Stamppi provides the technology; the Restaurant defines and provides the reward.
2. Who provides what
Stamppi provides and maintains the software and infrastructure. The reward itself is offered and honoured by the Restaurant, not by Stamppi. Stamppi is not a party to the loyalty relationship between you and a Restaurant beyond providing the platform that records it.
3. Your account
You sign in using your email address and a one-time sign-in link (“magic link”). You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. We do not use passwords. You must provide a valid email address, must not impersonate anyone, and must be at least [13] years old (the age of digital consent in Finland).
4. Stamps and rewards
Stamps and rewards have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable unless a Restaurant explicitly allows it. A Restaurant decides and may change the rules of its campaign; changes apply to new activity, and stamps already collected toward an existing reward keep their original target. The Restaurant is solely responsible for honouring rewards — if a Restaurant declines a reward, closes, or changes its program, Stamppi is not liable for the value of any unredeemed stamps or rewards. We use automated checks to prevent fraud; stamps obtained through fraud, error, or abuse may be voided.
5. Payments
Stamppi does not process payments. You pay the Restaurant directly, at the counter. Stamppi never sees or stores your payment-card details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to manipulate the stamp or reward system; access another person’s account or data; reverse-engineer, disrupt, or probe the service except as permitted by law; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
7. For Restaurants
If you use Stamppi as a Restaurant, you are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of your campaigns and for honouring the rewards you advertise; you will keep staff credentials (such as terminal PINs) secure; and you are responsible for your own lawful basis to process your customers’ personal data through the platform. A separate Restaurant agreement and/or Data Processing Agreement may apply.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service requires an internet connection for actions such as signing in and stamping. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features.
9. Intellectual property
The Stamppi name, logo, software, and design are owned by Faran Services and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Finnish or EU law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stamppi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost rewards or stamps, or loss arising from a Restaurant’s actions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and disputes are subject to the courts of Finland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights. As a consumer, you may also be entitled to use the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
